Art is a great way to express my mood. Generally, no matter what task I have set out in front of me, it is often reflected upon how I feel at that particular time. I tend to use brighter colors when I am in a happier mood. Alternatively, darker colors often help me to express anger. Although I sometimes make more realistic art, I have found that I have the most interest in modern art and art that exists only for the enjoyment of myself as opposed to having strictly definite shapes and lines. But what is more important than what goes into an art piece is what comes out of it. Whenever I start a project, I don’t often have a specific direction to go in. For this reason, I just like to let the art flow from my finger tips. Though it doesn’t always turn out the way I had expected, I always make sure to have fun with it. Although the emotions, colors and flow of my art are all important, what is most important to me is how art makes me feel. Art enables me the rare ability to completely clear my head. I am able to focus on the task at hand, rather than on whatever it is that is stressing me out. Art is more than just a hobby, but a passion that I feel deeply. For this reason, I hope to continue to make art now, and in the many years to come.
